We are so stoked with our video, Karl did such a beautiful job of capturing the magic of our day. We were both a bit apprehensive about being filmed and having cameras on us but Karl is a pro and we barely noticed him. During the bridal photos he didn’t force anything, it was all really natural and honestly felt like he was just another one of our friends!

It was such a pleasure to film Nikita and Andrew’s wedding - I love to get to know our couples through the day, so by the end it does feel like we’re filming some mates!

Nikita and Andrew got married at Anam Cara Gardens in Otaki, which is such a great venue because everyone can get ready on site, they have beautiful gardens and it’s only 5 minutes down to the beach (which always seems to have the absolute best sunsets!)

He was a pleasure to work with leading up to and on the day. During the wedding he was subtle, but came forward to give us professional direction when he needed to, which was perfect. We had a lot of fun with him and he helped us feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera, especially at the off-site locations.

The video itself is superbly edited, with excellent lighting, cinematography and sound. We appreciated he was able to capture all the best moments. He even involved us in the editing process by providing options for music, all of which were brilliant.”

Maia and Hyrum decided to have a small surprise ceremony with their family after their original wedding plans were postponed because of covid. Their guests found out the morning of that they were getting dressed to go to a wedding!

This was such a special experience to be a part of and they did an incredible job of keeping it a surprise. These two have a whole lot of love for one another and it was a treat filming their day.
